Behind-the-Wheel Re-examination Course

Behind-the-Wheel Re-examination is the in-car portion of the driver education program for individuals who have attempted the DMV road rest three (3) times and to take the test a fourth time. 

The course is seven (7) days of 50 minutes of driving and then the individual return to the DMV for testing.

You must have a Virginia learner's permit. 

• Sometimes individuals are not issued a temporary permit by the DMV. However, in those instances, you must still provide your DMV customer number and the issue date.

You must have failed the DMV road test three times. 

• This course is for individuals who failed the DMV road test three times. Taking this course before the third test attempt is not recommended; the DMV will only accept a certificate from this after the third test attempt date.

3. Email the contract along with a photocopy of your learner's permit to landsdrivingschool@gmail.com.

After the school receives your documents, they will contact you to discuss scheduling and payment methods.
